Kaeonadai
It won't work on my PPC machine. Is there a fix? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56074-wow-on-leopard/ Share on other sites
errandwolfe
Can you provide a bit better description then "it doesn't work"? Does it fail to start? Are the graphics messesd up? When you login does a gnome smoking crack come and kick your character in the family jewels? Kaeonadai
Graphic problems. Different colored bars made up of distorted icon/armor graphics shoot across the screen constantly. Also framerate is terrible. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56074-wow-on-leopard/#findComment-401181 Share on other sites
Ayanami
When you login does a gnome smoking crack come and kick your character in the family jewels? I used to have that problem when I was playing F.E.A.R. on my Boot Camp-ed Vista partition. I stopped using Vista, and the problem went away. BTW, wasn't there an icon for that in the during the WWDC premiere of 10.5? That or when Steve did his "Back to .Mac" thing, it popped up and said that the "WoW app quit unexpectedly" or something like that. Heck...maybe it's both. I'd go check, but I don't have that vid anymore. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56074-wow-on-leopard/#findComment-402657 Share on other sites

sg
WoW on Leopard (WWDC build) runs amazing, way better overall than on Tiger. FPS is higher overall and it takes even less CPU time. here's a screenshot of it in action (fps capped at 60 while in windowed mode).
