While the improvements in Preview 3.5 seem the same as Preview 3.1, the About box curiously mentions that "Map imagery owned by NASA", although at first glance there doesn't appear to be any way to access any sort of map imagery in Preview 3.5, perhaps foreshadowing a feature that has yet to arrive. Either they're reading too much into some simple error, or maybe, juuuuuuust maybe, they might be keeping a few things up their sleeves over in Cupertino.
