This sounds very promising, it will be interesting to see how this develops. I guess Microsoft will have to get started on stealing um.. I mean developing Vista further.

Core Animation will allow programmers to give their applications flashy, animated interfaces. Some developers think Core Animation is so important, it will usher in the biggest changes to computer interfaces since the original Mac shipped three decades ago.

Wow. That would be cool to really see thing active. Like a burning software, burn a sound software vibrate and such. Not needed I know, but still interesting and could make game development very different and maybe easier on Macs.

I like it how Apple develops API's (Core ), and makes it very easy for developers to use that API, without going through the costly trouble of trying to make an animation/effect on their own, and instead use/modify the ones provided in Core Audio, Core Image and now Core Animation. Apple puts the "easy to develop" factor on developers.....hence why there is much, much more quality apps avaliable for OS X.
