Bisby
I use a 20GB partition. Vista uses around 9GB... Bisby :-)
TheND
My Vista partition is 12Gb. Got pretty full when I first started installing Office, Adobe Pro, etc. Switched the page file and temp directory to another partition, now have 4Gb free. 20Gb would be perfect. EFI
On my MBP, I have OS X 140Gb, and gav XP a 20Gb partition, which was a little too much...but for Vista that should be ideal imo.

Alessandro17
It is very much up to you, really. It depends mainly on what you want to install. Keep in mind that most games need a lot of space and that you'll need space to defragment (I mean, a Windows partition should never be almost full). BebopBlues
I usually make the OS partition small just for the OS, pagefile, and hibernation file. For Vista, you'll need at least 15G to have breathing room or else you'll eventually see low-on-disk-space warnings. For apps and all other data, just install on another partition. Tinface
Didnt you guys think of just downloading an .ISO of just the version of Vista you have? Like I bought Ultimate. And because I bought it I didnt have to search for cracks and such. And Vista only uses like...4 gbs. Actually this is wierd...how can it be using only 4 gbs?... lessew
A Vista fresh install uses about 9 gigs iirc. Once you install Office and other apps, you'll run out of space fast. I suggest about 20 gigs for it. 15 at the bare minimum.
