What you want to do is remove the DRM, sadly that is not possible at this time.

A possible workaround is to 'frame capture' your m4v file with something like 'Snap Pro X' or 'Vnc2Swf.

Your file will be recorded while it plays, you will end up with 2 files (original DRM'ed m4v and the capture).

Encode the captured file and the job is done.

hi all

anyone know if it's possible to convert an m4v drm protected file, i paid for and downloaded an itunes tv episode, and now i want to burn it to DVD so i can watch it on my standalone DVD player.

any suggestions ?

Convert-tune converts protected files to different formats.

P.S. It runs on Windows 2003, XP, 7, Vista and adds ID3 tags ;)
