ipguy Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 hi all anyone know if it's possible to convert an m4v drm protected file, i paid for and downloaded an itunes tv episode, and now i want to burn it to DVD so i can watch it on my standalone DVD player. any suggestions ? TimH Posted March 10, 2007 Share Posted March 10, 2007 (edited) What you want to do is remove the DRM, sadly that is not possible at this time. A possible workaround is to 'frame capture' your m4v file with something like 'Snap Pro X' or 'Vnc2Swf. Your file will be recorded while it plays, you will end up with 2 files (original DRM'ed m4v and the capture). Encode the captured file and the job is done.
