erbic
Cool. Now, the million-dollar question..... Can we run Mac OS X in it? I'm talking about OSX native, althought OSX86 could be nice too. Somehow, I doubt it's possible to run it natively. We haven't been able to do it with any other virtualization software. Embio
that'll be because OS X uses EFI then..... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43022-microsoft-issues-free-virtual-pc-2007/#findComment-307557 Share on other sites

No, it emulates hardware that's even older than VMware (4 MB Graphics, IIRC) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43022-microsoft-issues-free-virtual-pc-2007/#findComment-307601 Share on other sites
erbic
(4 MB Graphics, IIRC) Wow. That explains the free-ness. And yeah, I had completely forgotten that we still need to figure out how to emulate EFI. Other than that, probably some small unnoticable things. If there was a way to disable (csa I think), the legacy boot string for BIOS OSes on my Gateway's EFI, I'd be gold.
