ARRRR:D I haven't used the voice recognition personally, but I've heard from a friend who has that it's not very good. I don't think that Vista {censored} though, far from it. Media Center is still way ahead from anything you can get on a mac. Alucard!
haha..come on..don't be so sceptical..those products not all are {censored}.. i am not trying to defend windows here but i think people must be honest in giving opinions..face the facts..we all know OSX is great but that doesn't mean windows are {censored}.. The only reason for me to choose the PC windows instead of Mackintosh (Sweet MacBoock/MackBook Pro )is that: 1) The game eventuality. 2) I am a future web designer, so therefor I must know the 80% used browser IE7 working possibility's. 3) Did I mention The Games? 4) It is really easy to find a hack on Windows programs. But there are at least 1k more reasons why I hate windows. I really would not want to mention them in here. It would be 2 deem boring and 2 deem long list! :pirate2: But if I was a standard user. I'll be using some kind of MacBook. Because It is much much More easier to use Mac then the Old school Windows. Pirated Dreams to u All! ARRR!!! CLiDE FTW!!1
Put it this way: If I was rich, I'd use Mac/Apple harware. But I'm not, so I use Windows. robotskip
So many popup windows and right corner task bar messages keep distracting me from work. To luanch a program from start menu is also becoming more inconvenient. A number of clicks and some scrolls are needed to launch a program hidden in a submenu of start menu. What do you think?I think you should stop ignoring half the things in Vista. There is search for a reason, press the freaking Windows key and type in what you want, it'll take you a second or 2 to find what you want. Hell, even if you don't all you have to do is click once, scroll down, than click again - OH GOD THAT IS HARD. As opposed to what, OS X ? Hell, if it's not in the Dock you have to bring up the apps folder which takes a lot longer than the start menu in Vista. I love how someone's anecdotal evidence stands for a 'mass conversion.' Oh, and dragonpool, what your comment says is "I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT AND DO ONT UNDERSTAND UAC SO ILL BASH IT LOLOL." nimb0z
I'm an OSX convert too, haven't looked back at windows since I installed osx. :-) Well, but there ARE a few things which windows is good at, like my net speed was 200+kbps in windows but only 10-40kbps in osx. Clock is never right in osx etc..but thats okay. ;-) Edited February 15, 2007 by nimb0z Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/39222-vista-makes-me-less-productive/page/2/#findComment-303557 Share on other sites

Yea, on a fairly new PC and my Mobo Battery is new too. The clock is usually ahead by 20 mins, but when it syncs with the apple time server, the time is corrected, but then again it goes wrong...
