At first, I was set on this setup: Xbox 360 w/ 20 GB HDD Extra Wireless Remote Wireless Adapter Call of Duty 3 12 Months Gold Xbox Live Subscription Total Cost: About $550.00 I was set on that, but after doing some research, I think PS3 looks very nice also. Here is the setup for playstation 3 that im debating: Playstation 3 60 GB Version Call of Duty 3 Tony Hawk Project 8 Full Auto 2: Battlelines Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Resistance: Fall of Man Wireless Sixaxis Controller XxX Blu-Ray (Widescreen) Click Blu-Ray Total: $804.00 Those prices are with a 20% discount. The Xbox gear is at amazon.com from various sellers, and the PS3 gear is a package deal at www.walmart.com. I'm leaning towards the PS#, but the price is alot. I could save $100.00 on the PS3 by sticking with the 20GB version, but im not sure. What do you suggest? Thanks for the help. rollcage Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 (edited) I'd get the 360, there are more games, Live is great, and the whole experience from the time you hit the power button is very well thought out. If you do get a 360, make sure you get Gears of War (it rocks). MS has made it extremely simple to get media streaming from your computer too. There are programs for OSX that will allow you to send media, so you're not limited to Windows. MacOSMatt Posted January 22, 2007 Share Posted January 22, 2007 yeah depends what u really want, a buttload of action games, intergration with ur computer and media, files and music: 360, a lot of wowing at unreal graphics and a whole lot more potential for games in the future: ps3.. personally id get ps3, just cause 360 has microsoft written all over it =p and the whole future thing.. sony are developing that brain thing that stimulates virtual surroundings, touch, taste etc, that might be released on ps3 someday. itl be called the brain thing. I have, howevever, decided to purchase a 60 GB Playstation 3 with 3 games, 2 Blu-Ray movies and an extra controler. All of this totaling to $850.00 shipped. Bow down to the amazing graphics. Then you can buy Halo 3 later this year.
