jgrimes80
I bought Parallels a long while back... I wasn't to pleased so I ditched it in favor of Bootcamp. Out of curiousity, I installed the Beta3 version and booted from my bootcamp drive and was amazed at the performance difference. Things are really usable: insanelymac.avi Machine Specs: 15" 2.0 GHz CD MBP 128MB x1600 1GB RAM Thought I'd post a small SOLIDWORKS video and ask: "How much further can this go?" wow
How bad or how good is parallels now? I am thinking of installing it, so i dont have to reboot so many times to xp. 70% of the normal speed? Edited January 5, 2007 by wow
errandwolfe
The relative speed depends a LOT on the amount of physical RAM you dedicate to it.
