On the OLD:  computer: I have not been able to finish the update of the computer in this beta 3 and in the 2 using a MacPro 7.1 in beta 2 I chose to remove the SSD and place it in a USB-SSD adapter and on my NEW: computer finish the update it stays in one part see photo I will continue investigating before removing the SSD

solution to disable the WhateverGreen.kext kext

With the official release of opencore 1.0.5 and the official release of the latest Lilu-kext-family-package (Lilu.kext 1.7.1WhateverGreen.kext 1.7.0, AppleALC.kext 1.9.5), flawless update to Tahoe Beta 3 even with WhateverGreen.kext enabled during the update. With WhateverGreen.kext, I am using boot argument: agdpmod=pikera.

Note that I did not revert the OCLP-Mod Root Patch before the update to Tahoe Beta 3 ( and still flawless incremental update to Tahoe 3 Beta via system settings) and thus OCLP-Mod automatically detected the missing root patch after the update to Tahoe Beta 3 and automatically reinstalled everything. Just that straight! Thanks, @laobamac_yyds!

With respect to the findings above, my latest EFI-Folder distribution v1.0.3

In my own hackintosh for some reason mac os  updates are not found by software update (an issue that persists on me at least from sequoia) and I always need to download the full installer to install any update.

Is it because it is skylake based?

Beta 3 installation using a MacPro 7.1 on an OLD: computer: use an installation USB when using an imacpro1.1 on this computer to complete the update it is necessary that the WhateverGreen.kext kext is disabled on the beta 3 installation USB but I have applied the AppleHDA patch perfectly

I am just using the latest release of RestrictEvents.kext and a compatible SMBIOS setting like MacPro7,1

And it did not work with enabeled WhateverGreen.kext, when implementing the latest official release of opencore and the Lilu-Family-Package? See my post above. In my case it worked now perfectly, while I always had to disable WhateverGreen.kext, when booting the macOS Tahoe installers.

Changing from 19,1 to MacPro 7,1 for Tahoe stopped automtic updates on my Z690 lol. Possibly it's just a bad serial number.

Anyway, I tried the new WEG - was using NootRX. but I just get a black screen after boot. I tried -wegnoigpu but still the same. Back to noot now.

Apart from that the update was flawless.

Is there a quirk or boot arg I need to make with WEG?

I am just using -v  -lilubetaall darkwake=0 keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 agdpmod=pikera -amfipassbeta restrict=1 revpatch=pci, sbvmm -rtcfxex, although I think -lilubetaall might not be even necessary.

Under UEFI -> Output I have just ProvideConsoleGop enabled.

È perché è basato su Skylake?

no!

SecureBootModel - Disable,

bootArg  revpatch=auto,sbvmm + RestrictEvents.kex

many of those boot flags aren't necessary unless you are debuging

I'm just using "alcid=12 keepsyms=1 watchdog=0" with Noot. What do you think I need to make WEG work?

I am also having issues with WEG. I have tried it with various boot args and black screen. I tried to change to WEG because Nootrx.kext hangs on a black screen after boot for about 15 to 30 seconds before it loads the desktop.
