@taqieallah If I understand your situation, you have iGPU only (no dGPU), so you need WhateverGreen for your framebuffer patching.  Booting without WhateverGreen will lead to the "no signal..." that you observed.  You shouldn't have any WhateverGreen issues with an iGPU-only hack.

If you don't figure out the problem, post your EFI so that others can review.

I installed Tahoe Beta 3 for testing and have a question:
I tried setting up Time Machine on Tahoe Beta 3 and it didn't work.
Is that right? Because Tahoe is a beta, Time Machine isn't available?
Tks.

Time Machine works for me on Tahoe. I use the Time Capsule to back up.

Yes, it works for me too ( Time Machine )

I managed to set it up. The thing is, the following message appears:
A disk not recommended for backups
To back up this Mac, you need a disk larger than 8.05 TB.

But I moved on...

what still doesn't work is the data migration ... it still goes in a loop

I couldn't use data migration here either.

I did data migration in a Tahoe installed from scratch and it did work. Source disk was Tahoe too.

I did a clean install of Tahoe Beta 3 on an internal SSD and used Migration Assistant to pull the data from a Tahoe Beta 2 that was on an external SSD.
No success!
Note: In the next Beta I will try again.

No its not : Weg enabled + Wrong Video patch = boot without acceleration

Weg Enabled + Working video patch from seqouia = No Signal bia dp or hdmi

Weg Disabled ,= No signal

He likes you more then 😆 . I also had a Tahoe drive as source

Which completed the transfer and then asked to reboot... upon boot, the pop-up appair again says "Migration completed, please reboot " ... 🤷‍♂️

I'm pleased that the Intel Wi-Fi and sound are working, along with the 10 Gb Ethernet. I have lots SSDT.aml I like play with SSDTs However, I've spent a long time trying to get the Intel MEI Controller to work, but it hasn't been successful. I've experimented with different Device IDs, but nothing has worked. I also updated My EFI.This EFI worked  Mac OS Sequoia and Tahoe.

I used  IORegistryExplorer and MaciASL for edit SSDTs . Thanks for support this effort.

Your SSDTs are impressive... using them is more effective than using DeviceProperties.
Are you using Windows to extract them?
OpCore Simplify, perhaps?

Installed beta 3 with 1.0.5 opencore - working fine (RX580 shows metal 2)

Without Weg boot takes longer with some device error messages - so included weg

Disabled intel gpu in opencore device property as I need igpu for windows boot

After installing AppleHDA kext, (have to use latest kextinstaller with kdk) analog sound is back

Manually edited previous usbports kext

Asmedia usb controller in my Z370 doesn't need mapping as before

Cpufriendfriend working great

So far no crashes - drm working fine

Issues:

No oclp update so no fenvi wifi

revpatch=sbvmm didn't show beta 3 update. Have to manually download and install. Beta 4 showed up and I was able to update.

Won't wake up after sleep - fixed by removing acpi-wake-type from device property
