deeveedee
Smooth and fast incremental OTA upgrade of my HackMini8,1 from Sequoia 15.5 Beta 3 -> Beta 4. Disabled BluetoolFixup.kext prior to upgrade to permit incremental upgrade. Booting with OC 1.0.4. Not using OCLP on this hack. All appears to be good. Incremental Upgrade from Sequoia 15.5 Beta 3 -> Beta 4 Spoiler EDIT: Smooth upgrade from Sequoia 15.5 Beta 3 -> Beta 4 on my HackBookPro6,2 (SMBIOS MBP6,2 / non-metal NVidia Tesla graphics). Booting with OC 1.0.4. Applying post-install patches with OCLP 2.3.2+ nightly. Posting this in Firefox, since Safari 18.5 does not load web pages on my HackBookPro6,2 running Sequoia 15.5 Beta 4. strangeron
I think the same problem occurs when an update is made to any version (maybe Sequoia). The first image I shared is a clean installation of Laptop Sequoia. The second image is a Sequoia update on Ventura. The third is a clean installation of Ventura. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360859-pre-release-macos-sequoia-155/page/4/#findComment-2832082 Share on other sites

I removed them and checked again. Normal. I skipped the part with applications. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360859-pre-release-macos-sequoia-155/page/4/#findComment-2832084 Share on other sites

surenmunoo
@eSaF I don't seem to have that issue as well. You'll need to keep an eye on that is my thinking, as I wonder how much Data have you got to occupy so much space albeit the size of the Drive can handle it (at the moment if all stays well). Thanks, I never noticed that when comparing, I will keep an eye on that. It does warrant further investigations. 4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360859-pre-release-macos-sequoia-155/page/4/#findComment-2832105 Share on other sites
surenmunoo
@eSaF I looked inside the Data folder and below is what that folder contains which explains why its so big(Maybe) but what got me curious is that the folder for users was increasing slowly in size with nothing being added or done to it. I left it idle for 5 minutes and as you can see the size difference circled in black below. 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360859-pre-release-macos-sequoia-155/page/4/#findComment-2832106 Share on other sites
