mnfesq
My installation of 15.5 RC proceeded without incident. However, since the last beta version and still with this RC, I notice that my wifi does not connect automatically after my laptop wakes from sleep. Does anyone else have this experience and is there anything that might fix it, particularly a method that will not cause me to lose year's worth of wifi passwords from locations I frequent? 6 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360859-pre-release-macos-sequoia-155/page/5/#findComment-2832122 Share on other sites

Is this the same laptop where you lost Bluetooth after a Sequoia upgrade here? 3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360859-pre-release-macos-sequoia-155/page/5/#findComment-2832129 Share on other sites

deeveedee
Apple's newly released KDK (24F74) has fixed the Safari 18.5 problems that I was experiencing in Sequoia 15.5 RC (24F74) on my HackBookPro6,2. After Apple released KDK (24F74), I re-applied OCLP 2.3.2 Nightly post-install patches (Nvidia Tesla) to my hack and Safari 18.5 no longer experiences a problem loading InsanelyMac web pages. Posting this with Safari 18.5 running in Sequoia 15.5 RC (24F74) on my HackBookPro6,2. Spoiler @mnfesq Assuming your Wi-Fi is broadcom Wi-Fi requiring OCLP post-install patches, try re-applying OCLP post-install patches while you maintain a wired-ethernet connection. PoMpIs
Hi friends 😃 I haven't used Hackintosh for a while now. It's not the same since Apple abandoned Intel CPUs, and we're nearing the end, and I don't like Apple hardware, only iPhones. But recently, I bought a gaming computer for one of my sons, and with the old one, I reinstalled macOS on it, just to see if an old EFI I had from a time I tried Ventura would still work on this computer. And once I updated that EFI and the KEXTs, it worked like a charm: With incremental updates included: And now that we're almost certain to find out if Apple releases another Intel-compatible version of macOS, I'm getting this computer ready to try it out. I've been using Hackintosh since Apple switched to Intel in 2006 with Tiger 10.4.4, testing the first Intel versions on a Pentium 4 and a Core Duo, and I'm excited to be on the latest, which could be this year. Best regards.🤗 Edited May 12, 2025 by PoMpIs 11 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/360859-pre-release-macos-sequoia-155/page/5/#findComment-2832216 Share on other sites
