cankiulascmnfye
Something is not right with this update. This is what happens to CPU Power Management in idle on my Lenovo T490 Laptop: CPU should hover around 1.2 Gmz, Temp should be around 50° C. And no, it's not indexing. It's simply ideling. cankiulascmnfye
@eSaF I think Intel Power Gadget itself is the culprit. In Activiy Monitor, Intel Power Gadget runs at 100 %. I think that the EnergyDriver.kext that the app installs causes this issue. Because as soon as macOS has booted, the fans run wild and the Laptop gets really hot. After I uninstalled and rebooted, everything is back to normal. The app comes with uninstaller located in the same folder as the app! Ensure that the kext is gone from the system. Seems like we can no longer use this thing moving forward… Edited November 16, 2023 by cankiulascmnfye Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357920-pre-release-macos-sonoma-142/page/3/#findComment-2813544 Share on other sites

It works fine up to 14.1.1. The new tool they provide doesn't even have a binary you can install. You have to compile it yourselt. And I didn't manage to do so. The "Cmake" thing doesn't work for me. The latest OC Release Pkg (43c4931) is giving me cause for concern, I updated from OC Release Pkg (b5984a3) which worked perfectly. This latest version only shows Windows at the Boot Menu (see attached) plus the message 'No Schema for FixupAppleEfiImages'. I have meticulously gone through my settings and cannot find the cause for the change which forced me to revert to the previous OC version. Hello, can I make my own Opencore theme like this picture? The latest OC Release Pkg (43c4931) is giving me cause for concern, I updated from OC Release Pkg (b5984a3) which worked perfectly. This latest version only shows Windows at the Boot Menu (see attached) plus the message 'No Schema for FixupAppleEfiImages'. I have meticulously gone through my settings and cannot find the cause for the change which forced me to revert to the previous OC version. Same thing here (latest OC Release Pkg 43c4931) ... Show Win only 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/357920-pre-release-macos-sonoma-142/page/3/#findComment-2813821 Share on other sites

The last commit on which legacy loading works is 11a33b4. On c65fb5b you can perform a legacy loading if you use a legacy boot from 11a33b4.
