I applied the 14.0 Beta 3 RSR without any issues to my HackMini8,1 (SMBIOS MacMini8,1, RestrictEvents.kext 1.1.2, revpatch=sbvmm, OC 0.9.3).

At the time of this post, I see no reason to upgrade RestrictEvents.kext to Dev version 1.1.3.  Also, OC 0.9.3 [Release] works perfectly for this hack running Sonoma.

Are you try compiled (build) that kexts with Xcode and make a build from Opencore by your self?

It's very recommend build kexts directly from your hardware. Need use SDK and Xcode

SDK that im think is fine is from this repo:  https://github.com/TomHeaven/MacKernelSDK

Download Opencore Source Code and install Xcode. Use Ventura and not update above Xcode 14.

For Opencore Build run Terminal and type sudo -i  and type enter

Will shows up  root# and drop here file build_oc.tool  from Opencore Source Code and type enter.

Left run and after that  search for Binaries folder and your Opencore release and debug  with SSDTs will create.

Look for how to use Lilu Debug and SDK and compile all kexts, if not know I will send YouTube tutorial.

Its not solved everything, but is good solutions for boot Opencore and many thinks will doing well like real Mac.

Sonoma 14.0 Beta 23A5286i was available via OTA and applied without issues on my MBP6,2 patched with OCLP-AMFIPass-Beta4 (AMFI/LV fully enabled, AMFIPass.kext 1.3.1, OC 0.9.3).  After the update, OCLP automatically prompted me to re-apply post-install patches.  The macOS update and post-install patches installed without issues.  NVidia Tesla non-metal graphics still does not have full acceleration, but this hack is surprisingly responsive.  Because of the incomplete graphics patching, I still need to use Firefox (which I'm using for this post).

OCLP patcher automatically downloaded the latest KDK Build

I understand that OCLP Devs are not yet supporting Sonoma, but for me, this small success is very encouraging.

@deeveedee: Your post makes it sound like OCLP 067 can be used to patch Sonoma. But this is not the case for most patches. For example, applying any iGPU patches – like ntel HD 4000 – will definitely result in a bricked system. That it can download newer builds of macOS is not a big deal, since it just fethces the latest download links from Apples Update Servers.

@cankiulascmnfye If someone interprets my specific experience with Arrandale Dell Latitude E6410 NVidia Tesla to mean they can patch their HD4000, then please accept my apology.

For anyone who thinks they can install Sonoma on their Pentium III PC, I did not mean to give that impression either.

Kidding aside, you are right to point out that everyone's experience may vary.  Forgive my attempt at humor :)

I can't get the update to work. with 15 minutes to go I get this

I have the same problem although it may come a bit earlier in the install process for me.  Either way, I was able to resolve it by disabling BluetoolFixup.kext before running the update.  Once it installs, I re-enable the kext and it and Sonoma run fine.

I guess this links the wrong link, I downloaded the file and it's for macOS Ventura beta.

The correct link for macOS Sonoma 23A5286i is:

Today I reset the nvram a couple of times and it's back to life 😐

Could @Cyberdevs be correct and your Sonoma OTA issue would have been fixed by Resetting NVRAM?

@deeveedee So I wanted to know if anyone had any success in installing sonoma, with a configuration similar to mine, I managed to install it but without success when enabling video and wifi, regarding the OCLP status I have been following it, anyway thanks for the answer.

Hi Folks, Has anyone made any progress with wifi (BCM 94352HMB - DW1550) and Intel HD Graphics 4400? I used OCLP to fix the graph but I get kernel panic on my old Dell 3437 with Intel Haswell.

Hi Mirone, welcome back.

I don't think anyone has successeded so far, I tried to activate the GPU acceleration or enabling WiFi several times on Macs and Hacks but failed.

Bro what Card is that, is it preinstalled in your system or is it a third party one that you installed?

Thanks.

PS - What about iPhone Camera Hand Off to Mac and Air Drop?

Scratch that, I see from the pic the WiFi logo in the Menu Bar is Crossed Out if I am not mistaken.

I do not see the WiFi signal inactive and crossed out so the WiFi is active or my eyes  very bad !!!!!
