Isn't the whole point of the kext to avoid the use of amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1. Maybe I misread this? 2 hours ago, MaLd0n said: run with geekbench 5 My rig is faster when I run GB4 Edited August 25, 2022 by deeveedee 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/351969-pre-release-macos-ventura/page/98/#findComment-2791937 Share on other sites

You try use only one of them to test. deeveedee
@jsl2000 Maybe because you didn't edit the Info.plist in the kext. What happens when you use only the boot-arg? Common_Sense
Checking Extensions under System Information in Ventura B5 to see which kexts that are loaded, all of them says Loaded=NO, Very strange, obviously a lot of them are loaded. Anyone else that got this? Obviously only cosmetic, but strange. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/351969-pre-release-macos-ventura/page/98/#findComment-2791958 Share on other sites

Yes - I thought I was the only one with that in extensions under system info-all my system kexts show not loaded-strange but as you say cosmetic Build 1: iMac20,2, i5-9400F, Samsung 16GB DDR4 RAM, MSI Z390 Gaming Plus , Radeon RX 580 8GB, OC 0.8.4 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/351969-pre-release-macos-ventura/page/98/#findComment-2791964 Share on other sites

mnfesq
I've stopped posting to report an uneventful install. It's just a waste of everyone's time. But I have a quick question: Is it still necessary to disable BlueToolFixup.kext in order to get the smaller-sized update to install? Has a newer version of this kext made disabling unnecessary? 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/351969-pre-release-macos-ventura/page/98/#findComment-2791971 Share on other sites
