Why not use StartUp disk in preferences, I can set widows as the first bootable entry on OC Gui

As i said earlier. Even i set it up in Sys prefs it always boot from First drive in OC menu picker.

Actually I never had any problems either way, it just irked me quite a bit that the Windows Logo appeared first in the Boot Menu even though it was on the second disk in the System unlike when I was running Clover so @miliuco gave me this tip to make it appear as the second OS in the System.

I do have that entry inside my .plist. But still the Win drive is the 1st on the list. My guess is that the path is not right??

Now i wonder how to find the path of the drive.

Hi, to find the exact path of windows, you can follow here

https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/348097-how-to-custom-entry-in-opencore-to-boot-windows/

as ScanPolicy set in Misc> Security = 2687747

Enable in Misc> Boot> PollAppleHotKey  to enable CTRL+Enter ...

Hi,

Anyone knows if this last update broke any configurations?

After my last update i only can boot in safe mode!

My system is HP xw6600 Workstation working fine until last update.

Any hint would be welcome.

Thanks.

When booted in the safe mode, the Mac is not able to run any third party applications. So if it boots in safe mode but not normal that usually indicates that some piece of third party software is incompatible with the operating system on your Mac. You are going to have to either ensure that no third party software is running or uninstall it all and then check to see if you can find the application that is causing the problem.

Hi Matgen84 and thanks for your reply.

Yes you are right, but in my case i didn't install any third party software when updating from the previous Monterey version.

But i will try to boot, removing some kext, like the voodooHDA.kext that is giving me errors even in OC boot.

Remove VoodooHDA from where? It can't be injected by OC since 11.3

How to make it working under Big Sur 11.3+

HI,

From Library/Extensions, but it's not the problem anyways.

I did a fresh new installation in another disk and the problem is the same, the boot stops and sometimes reboots near ACPI : Dynamic OEM table load...

It' odd since i didn't change any hardware and my DSDT is still the same!

I already tried to make another from windows, and SSDT-EC and SSDT-PMC as well, but no luck so far
