That's very odd considering booting from "internal storage" is the only option you have as an entry. I would try installing clover manually into your partition/drive, then use my clover. If that has not worked for you.. then sure, see if the boot folder helps

BOOT.rar

thank you again , i can boot into the clover interface normally when replace the boot file from you .

how to modified the dsdt to display battery power percentage?

A solution for the Surface Pro 2017 has not yet been found because the way to measure the battery percentage is very different from previous surfaces that have already been solved.

As i known that , surface pro 4 & surface pro 6 & Surfacebook1/2 also solved the display of power percentage

As I mentioned earlier on Surface Pro 4 if this worked, but since Surface Pro 5 there is no solution, in the link of github In a section of things that does not work he says ” 电量显示;” referring to the percentage of the battery that does not work

Temporary solution: if you need graphics on Catalina, downgrade back to 10.15.3. Everything works as it used to. Hopefully someone can fix the issue with 10.15.4 in the future. perhaps we jus have to wait for a clover patch, doesnt look like 10.15.4 is fully supported yet.

you need to get the installer from another source because that installer needs to have internet active to do it and run the command {sudo ntpdate -u time.apple.com} (You can try checking the time in the terminal and changing it if necessary)

What you need is a full body Catalina installer in the USB. Follow my guide here: https://myopencore.wordpress.com/2020/03/21/fullinstaller/

Enjoy, and drop a comment.

Has anyone OpenCore'ed this Surface Pro 2017? Would be interested to see the config.

UPDATE! I have successfully (partly; haven't finished the full installation) OpenCore'd this machine (Surface Pro 2017 (i5 7300U, ALC298, Intel HD 620) with OpenCore 0.5.6 and Catalina 10.15.4--I have reached the Recovery/MacOS Utiliies stage ( but I am debating whether want to potentially mess up what's well working now (with Clover & Catalina 10.15.3) with continuing this OpenCOre 0.5.6 with Catalina 10.15.4 project.)

Here's the EFI: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ef53e94scyhqfrq/surfacepro2017.zip?dl=0

Report  back if you have a full installation, ok? Enjoy.

  • Thanks 1

ok no me funciona después del modo de pantalla negra -V: s

Ohhh man, You need to preare the Bios, do the following...

1-You have to enter the BIOS, when turning on the surface with the volume button + pressed to access the BIOS.

2- then we go to "Security" - "Secure boot" - "Change configuration" and set "None" We also disable Trusted Platform Module (TPM).

Once we do this, Surface will allow us to start any other operating system. It will appear when we start it with a red stripe with a padlock (good sign)

You must enter "Graphics Injector" and change the values of "Platform-id: by 12345678 after the system loads rebuild the cache then restart and then again You must enter" Graphics Injector "and change the values of" Platform-id: by 0x59260002
