What do you think about that Cyberdevs, i'm sure that something is going for wrong Well it's a very strange behavior, I thing it could be related to the EFI folder as well, as I mentioned before in my earlier posts; Let's double check everything: 1. Use the latest BIOS? 2. Is the EFI folder optimized correctly? 3. Is the config.plist has the correct settings? 4. Is the BIOS/UEFI's settings are correct? 5. Is this problem only happening in macOS, What are the the benchmark scores in windows? 6. How did you create the USB installer disk? @AceMcLoven Please answer these questions and we can narrow down the cause. I have the latest F5a for my Mobo 2. I'm not sure on this one 3. For the most part I have followed most guides especially for my board. 4. BIOS settings are set as recommended and i posted the pictures to show and used your recommended settings. 5. I don't really use windows. I have a windows drive but dont use it at all. 6. I did use unibeest to make the USB installer. I don't know what that beast thingy does to the installer and we don't support it anyway! to create the installer use the following command in terminal but before you do prepare a USB disk, Format the disk with Disk Utility with the following specifications 1. Use MacOS Extended Journaled with GUID partition scheme 2. Don't rename the USB disk let the name to be "Untitled" 3. Make sure the the "Install macOS High Sierra is placed in the applications folder 4. Open terminal and paste the following command: sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app —nointeraction 5. Once the creation of the installer is done, mount the EFI partition on the USB disk and then copy the EFI folder I posted on the EFI partition and reboot the system 6. Do a clean install and then test the performance. I'll do a new boot USB disk using your method with your instructions and see if it works. AceMcLoven
I have a questions to anyone who can answer it. with Ozmosis, do you need to redo the whole process to upgrade to Mojave OS or does the App Store method work?
