Hi, i've recently changed my old DVI monitor with a new one; if i connect it to my hackintosh with display port or mini display port everything works without problem but if i connect it with HDMI i can't wake monitor from sleep unless i unplug e replug the cable; i'm using latest web driver with MacOS 10.13.3 and i've installed Lilu and NvidiaGraphicsFixup kexts.
Any solution? Is it a common problem with pascal and MacOS? I need to use HDMI for HDR on Windows and i prefer not to change cable every time i have to switch the OS.

P.S. somentimes after wake monitor with HDMI i see some gliches with MacOS, on Windows everything works great.

Thanks.

I had the same issue with my 1060, except I was using DP. If the display would go to sleep I would lose connection and only a hotplug of the DP cable to the PC would solve the issue. I thought it was a problem with my monitor (it worked in windows) but the problem is with NVIDIA drivers. I recommend updating to 10.13.4 and using the latest stable drivers. The issue FINALLY resolved itself with my z270N gaming 5 mini itx board and GTX1060.

If that doesn't help, make sure you have hdmi audio set up correctly. It can help with connection issues.

Good luck!
