Intel HD 630 shows 7MB vram, no acceleration QE_CI, Kaby Lake High Sierra

Recommended Posts

Hi guys!

I have not acceleration in my IGPU graphic card, the system says: 7mb vram and everything goes very slowly, neither can to change resolution. I used lilu.kext and inteligraphicsfixup.kext but nothing happens. I tried a lot of things but nothing changes. Tried changing my Fake ID Intel: 0x59128086 and Inject Intel ig-platform: 0x59120000 but nothing happens. I`ve got this issue from 20 days ago and I don´t find the solution.

My specs:

Desktop

Asus H110M-D mobo

i3 7100 Kaby Lake

Intel HD 630 IGPU

4gb ddr4 ram

500GB HDD WD

High Sierra 10.13 OSX

Any suggestion will be very appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

Why don't you post a zipped copy of your Clover EFI folder?

Intel i3-7100 indeed carries Intel HD 630 iGPU and that already bears id 0x5912. As such, there is no need to fake that id in Clover. Can't do any harm though... Layout-id (aka ig-platform-id) 0x59120000 is also the recommended value for your desktop. Make sure to set your SMBIOS to iMac18,x.

Try this Clover config instead (no FakeCPUID, no faking of incorrect iGPU id, no SKL FB patching for Sierra, etc.).

config.plist.zip

Remove those kexts from Clover kexts folder; they're obsolete pre-release High Sierra and there's no reason why you would not run on High Sierra's vanilla versions:

  1. AppleIntelKBLGraphics.kext
  2. AppleIntelKBLGraphicsFramebuffer.kext

Good luck with the rest of your endeavour.

- GRAPHICS : Check "InjectIntel"

- GRAPHICS : “ig-platform-id” changed to 0x59120000

- DEVICES : "IntelGFX" changed to 0x59128086

- BOOT : Add “-disablegfxfirmware” under Custom Flags

Try this.   .CLOVER.zip

Check your main partition for EFI Backups folder remove any clover folders there before you try this.    Backup config, plist files there can prevent your changes form taking hold or send corrupting commands during boot.

Replace your clover folder with this one attached, before you forget to make a backup of your current clover folder.

I have been having a pretty major issue with my new Hackintosh lately. It has been displaying broken link images in safari (See image 1). It has also had certain areas of artifacting such as the storyboard in Xcode (See image 2). and finally PDFs have been showing up completely blacked out (See image 3). This has been a big issue for me and I was wondering if any of you have had the same problem and have had any luck fixing it. I have already tried display calibration and switching to integrated graphics. Thanks in advance!

i installed high sierra, but it seems my vram only detected 4mb, i tried to fix this with IntelGraphicsFixUp and IntelDVMTGraphicsFixUp kexts but it seems it refference into
AppleIntelKBLGraphics and it is missing  on my System/Library/Extensions. so i think i need to download AppleIntelKBLGraphics.kext
is it normal? or should i get those KBLGraphics Kexts somewhere? to make my intelhd 620 graphics works. the graphics seems flickering now

      Hi,
I noticed some weird behavior with macOS High Sierra. This system was working just fine on Sierra 10.12.5, until I decided to update to High Sierra (10.13.3). The upgrade process went mostly fine I guess, but it got stuck in an infinite spinning wheel which would just keep overlapping. I went into verbose mode, and sure enough, I found "IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0" repeating over and over along with ACM errors... I'm really lost right now. I can boot in recovery mode and safe mode just fine, when the graphics drivers aren't loaded. Web drivers aren't installed. I installed NvidiaGraphicsFixup, but it didn't fix the issue. I tried deleting the native graphics drivers from macOS and installing web drivers, but it didn't help.
      SMBIOS: iMac13,1
Graphics card: ASUS GT630-2GD3 (It's a Fermi card and it needs injection, so I modified my DSDT. Full graphics acceleration worked in Sierra. No Clover injection. I tried using Clover injection instead, I saw no difference.)
CPU: Intel Core i3-3210, iGPU disabled in UEFI

All kexts updated to their latest versions, along with Clover.

For more info, you can refer to the GitHub issue where I posted it. https://github.com/lvs1974/NvidiaGraphicsFixup/issues/3
      Any help would be appreciated.
      Thank you for your time!
