How to fix display preference, brightness controls, battery status? [Sierra-AsusS56CB]

Greetings, I finally installed sierra on my ultrabook Asus (K56CB Family) S56CB-XX173H , but I have some problems to be corrected:
-the display preferences don't open (anyway the hdmi it work) 
-brightness controls not working
-battery status not working
for the moment these
How to fix them?

Display pref pane can be fixed by using a custom EDID.

Brightness controls require DSDT edit + kext.

Battery status requires DSDT edit + kext

If you need help post native and/or modified DSDT & SSDT.

Press F4 at clover boot screen, it will dump DSDT, SSDT into EFI > EFI > CLOVER > ACPI > original.

Compress and attach.

Attach config.plist as well.

I put that file in the folder patched, I installed the kext: ACPIBatteryManager and IntelBackLight and now everything works .. but, how do I set the brightness? Now when I plug and unplug the power, the screen lights up more, or less (the display preference can't load)

You will still need to disable your nvidia card in bios or via dsdt/ssdt.

 

Have you looked into the EDID?

the issue is the same .. must inject the edid for ur monitor

in tonymac osx I read that FixEDID.app is not a solution because it decreases the brightness and graphics

I used the other method to fix mine and it works 100% just need to read it thoroughly and follow it to the T.

I did not use fixedid.app.
