Fergarth
Have you tried this patch? http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/319764-guide-dell-xps-15-9550-sierra-10122-quick-installation/page-22?do=findComment&comment=2396871 Hi mfc,Yes friend, I also tried with kext NvidiaGraphicsFixup and did not change anything. So I did not test with the patch because I thought it must be the same thing. What's worth in the middle of all this is that since I've done overclok I've never had random freezings. I can use it for hours without forced reboots! Anyway, another 4 or 5 betas and comes out the 12.5 Final with new Web Driver ??
Regi Yassin
in order to get C3 state working in my X99 Sabertooth and 5820k is to use fakesmc from hwsensors.com, is it really has something to do with it? Fergarth
In my case it has nothing to do with FakeSMC, but with the patches I use. Currently I only use 3 patches and I have P, C3 and C6 speedsteps, as you can see in prints in my previous posts. However if I add another patch or two, I stop having C3. I think it has to do with the xcpm patches that are used.
Fergarth
i just do as u told and got a good dsl, but when i save it as aml, errors still occour. so confusedAfter the patches have been added it, compiles and saves the dsl as aml. Try to fix the errors already as aml and if result saves the changes. Also the same happened to me and I correct this way with acpi 6.1
Regi Yassin
@Fergarth how did you get correct wattage info in IPG or HWSensor?
Regi Yassin
its still the same, incorrect, i didnt do OC. all setting for volt, or anything related to oc is auto. EDIT: i got itworking by change XMP to auto, and dram freq to auto not 2133 or 2400, (my ram is 2400) and detected 2133mhz, now its working, is there anyway to load XMP profile but the detection still working? kinda bug me when you have something can do 2 things but limited to only 1 thing. Fergarth
@Fergarth how did you get correct wattage info in IPG or HWSensor? Screen Shot 2017-05-08 at 2.50.48 PM.png Hi Regi,So I know it's normal and it should be some problem with IPG. It's the same with me. If I have everything stock the IPG shows consumption but Ram works at 2133Mhz. If I use XMP profile the IPG does not show the consumption and Ram shows the 3200Mhz.
Regi Yassin
Hi Regi, So I know it's normal and it should be some problem with IPG. It's the same with me. If I have everything stock the IPG shows consumption but Ram works at 2133Mhz. If I use XMP profile the IPG does not show the consumption and Ram shows the 3200Mhz. i got weird sound over my motherboard when im not using XMP, its like sound of working-harddisk. i thought its my hd, but when i swtiched back to xmp, its gone, its only happened in os x, windows 10 i got no weird sound. so i'd stick with XMP for now. thanks for the information though.
