Sbrillo
Hi guys, I've installed macos 10.12 and i have two problems: 1: When boot with clover, before the apple logo, i have a error message. it said to press enter or reset mac. I press enter and it starts.. I want to know if this is normal 2: Audio is not working at all. I used a standard config.plist, modified toleda script for compatibility problems with 10.12 and tried. kexts have been installed but audio it's not working Used latest version of clover for installation and post installation, i don't use DSDT. Specs are I5 4690 H97M-D3H HD4600 Intel
itsmee12433
For your audio problem, I would try to install the codec commander kext. That helped me. Heres the link to it. https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-eapd-codec-commander/downloads
Dontview
Hey,Why don't you use the pre patched AppleALC by vit9696? I have nearly the same setup as you use and got my 892 working with the kext below:https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/releases Don't forget to add audio interface "1" in your clover configuration . Good luck
swede420
Or you can try Toledas HDA patch version 1.20. It worked for me on GA-Z170M-D3H.
conedmiro
Or you can try Toledas HDA patch version 1.20. It worked for me on GA-Z170M-D3H. This is your best bet! http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/496-applehda-patcher/
kururuchaoz
I'd suggest AppleALC by vit9696, too. 1. Put AppleALC.kext in /EFI/clover/kexts/10.12/ 2. Write config.plist as below: <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>Audio</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <string>1</string> </dict> ... All done.
kurtcocain
Hi, This is my first Hackintosh so please bear with me..... Thanks

kurtcocain
I did that and it found and fixed errors, I copied the file again and this time it did without any errors By "don't forget inject audio_id= 7 or 9 in your config.plist or DSDT.aml" I presume the mean the config.plist file on the EFI partition? I mounted the EFI partition, and went to EFI/CLOVER/config.plist then changed <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>Audio</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <string>1</string> to <key>Devices</key> <dict> <key>Audio</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <string>7</string> I also tried <string>9</string> But still no audio with either setting Thanks for your help and patience, sorry for all the noob questions
