Hey, Why don't you use the pre patched AppleALC by vit9696? I have nearly the same setup as you use and got my 892 working with the kext below: https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/releases Don't forget to add audio interface "1" in your clover configuration . Good luck
  3. GTX 970 here. New driver working fine in DP 4. I use the display port.

Same here. 970 GTX is not starting anymore. Only my internal CPU graphics seems to work.

    Graphics problems with macOS Sierra

Yes, there should be an option in your BIOS Settings. In addition, try to set your Graphics Output from "Automatic" to "PCI-E 1 Slot" (Maybe it will be named differently in your Bios settings). What happens if you don't use -v ? Does your Display turn black, but the system is not rebooting?

    Graphics problems with macOS Sierra

Did you try to disable your internal CPU-Graphics? Did you set your SMBIOS to Mac 14,1? In my case (970 GTX), this missing setting prevented my graphic card to startup completely.
  7. Hello everyone, i plan to buy myself a new power supply. Since i have a Haswell (i5-4570) CPU, I was wondering if the low power states would work on my hackintosh. Otherwise, this investment would be rather senseless I guess. Currently, I use the Intel Power Gadget in order to analyze the power consumption of my CPU. In Idle, it consummate around 44 W. In full load, it consummate around 59 W. if C6 and C7 are working, it should by much more less than 44W. Anyway, it would be nice if someone could confirm that C6 and C7 is working. If anyone has any experience, it would be also nice to know how high the power consumption of these states are using a hackintosh. Thank you guys, Timo

  9. Hey Guys, i am trying to create my own DSDT but i am very inexperienced. The reason for this effort is that i found a dsdt hack for my HD 7850 here. Anyway I am getting a lot of compiling errors. Some of them i have already fixed by myself. Any help would be very appreciated. C6 / C7 low power states on a Hackintosh?

Ok...the strange part is, that my intel power gadget ist not working properly. That might explain my high results. It shows a power consumption between 0,45 - and 0,55 W. Any suggestions how i could fix this? I am definitely using a ssdt ..... I attached i picture of my intel power gadget results, my clover configuration and my current ssdt file... Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP DSDT Help

Hey, thanks for your quick response. To be honest: I have simply overlooked this fact. Anyway, i changed everything to my old configuration. Although, maybe it is useful for future projects, that this configuration worked with injected kext. I had to change it in the first place, because of heat issues. I was hoping to fix it by changing the position of my gc. In the end, i bought a new Tower with cable and heat management. Now everything looks fine. Thanks for your help, have a nice weekend.

  22. Hey everyone, I have a dual boot windows 8.1 and Mavericks using clover. Everything worked just fine until I changed my graphic card. Now, I still can boot Mavericks without any problem. But windows won’t start graphics. When I choose windows with clover, I can see the windows loading symbol. But after it's done loading, my screen is just black. The strange part: It is possible to boot into windows, via the bios boot menu. Any suggestions? I did reinstall clover.
  23. First: Thanks for all your suggestions! Using Clover: Windows won’t boot up because it is using the internal graphics. Using Bios: Windows is using the pci graphics. I don't know the reason for this, but I disabled the internal graphics in my Bios settings. Now everything is fine.
