DeltaUnit38
HelloI have a question regarding the clover EFI bootloader. Now I want to dual boot my Windows 10 (installed) with Mac OS X El Capitan with help of Clover. But I want to know how and if I can get rid of Clover in case I run into trouble later on.I have been searching (Probably not good) on how to remove clover, but unfortunately with no success. The ones that I have found are rather confusing or simply complicated. That'll be all. Slice
You can drag Clover files to trash. There is no way to delete a boot process. There is a way to install other boot manager. DeltaUnit38
Ah, that seems like a good option for installing that EFI mounter app. The first one however seems rather risky in a way though I tried it earlier in a virtual machine. But I would like to know as well if it's possible that there's a Windows or any other option without using the Mac OS X operating system if I can't reach it. Slice
Self destruction process inited 10, 9, 8, 7.... or is it completely impossible to do that? Why impossible? I can reformat your drives one by one. I can reflash your bios. I can clear your CMOS. 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311777-question-about-removal-of-clover/#findComment-2232037 Share on other sites
Quadie
If it is a UEFI install you can delete the EFI/Clover folder in the ESP. If you have boot0af installed you can restore the Microsoft MBR by running startup repair or by following this guide: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/20864-mbr-restore-windows-7-master-boot-record.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311777-question-about-removal-of-clover/#findComment-2233239 Share on other sites
