Hello.

I have an issue when trying to install El Capitan.
When i boot on my installation USB key, i go to the disk utility to format my SSD.
On disk utility, on the left, i don't see any of my sata drive listed, so i can't format it !

All my BIOS settings seems to be on the recommended values.

I used the Clover OS X El Capitan USB topic to create my usb key.

I used the config.plist in attachment.

Any clue on any fix ?

Thank you for your help smile_osx.png

Merci Chris, t'es un chef.

It seems that your plist is working. In the installer i now see my sata disks.

Can you please explain me what is different with your plsit ? It load a specific driver or something ?

I would like to understand :)

Thx

Hi

@chris1111..I saw in your "magic config" you put  only "fake LPC"= true... could be this?

from :clover zetam"

"FakeLPC_0020
Changes the device-id for the LPC chipset device. Needed in very rare cases for non-standard (for Apple) chipsets, like ICH9."

yours

"<key>FakeLPC_2670</key>

<true/>"

'cause I have an ga z97x ud3 with the same issue...and I spare it to install win as IDE  instead AHCI option was working..

I change for

<key>FakeLPC_2670</key>

Because I have only one  thing not fixit to my Precission is

a Warning

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::registerLPCDriver - WARNING - LPC device initialization failed: C-state power management not initialized

This is not fix my problem but is not a real problem, All Dell Precission working like this

Edit***

this is my Info device with DCPI Mnager

hi

what made @snoop-tom... ga z97x begin to work... in your config?

I mean, begin to list Sata drivers...

he wrote..

"It seems that your plist is working. In the installer i now see my sata disks."

WTH is FakeLPC_2670 hahahaha

Hi..

You mean...that "lpc...",is the reason to work on the ga z97x (@snoop...) ?

C.frio

Thats nothing to do with this

The LPC value change nothing for me and for him

I  can put any value and the result is the same

For me the Warning message is the same with any value

and  the same if I remove totally the FakeLPC

Edit** I stay with 2670 because its my LPC Device
