Post install for EL Capitan 10.11.3 on Samsung 300E4A-S0ESA Laptop

Ok my screen shot are working fine now

But i am still having problems with artifacts on my intel hd 3000

I tried disabling nvidia processor from clover but it just makes things worse so i got nvidia back on for now

Both yosmite and elcapitan have the same issue now ... can you help me fihure this out ?

Today i am working on fixing the cpu power managment to ditch using nullcpupowermanagment.kext

I just made my first ssdt.aml generated by maciasl app

Used 35w tdp and 4 logical cpus , 2500mhz base freq and 3100 turbo boost

First boot was a fail so i reboot and now it works but tales considerably longer to login

Used to login under 30 seconds but now i need about a minute or so to login

I removed nullcpu kext amd stopped using generat c and p stats flags on my config plist

Did i do something wromg ?

My hd3000 was vanilla when osx installation usb was done

Now i think i did some dsdt patching for it (rehabman repo i chose hd3k_low ) because i run native res of 1366x768

i am booting OSX from clover

most stuff now working on yousmite 10.10.2 (except nvidia card and wifi , intel hd3000 sometimes artifacts , longer boot time after ssdt.aml and removal of nullcpu kext)

on elcapitan 10.11.3

i have that USB problem and camera still not recognized , bluetooth is not working also

brightness works , buttons works also using appleintelbacklight.kext from rehabman

battery works thanks to rehab man dsdt patch for samsung series 3 laptop

applehda is patched and dsdt patched alot also (osx86 link )

dsdt patches applied so far are these :

HPET dsdt fix did not compile correctly , gives syntax error _CRS so i did not apply it because i couldnt save dsdt.aml after that

i did not try sleep and wake up yet on osx , i want to fix my graphics problem and cpu pm first

Elcapitan booted normally and the nvidia card was on
Then i tried booting osx yousmite and got stuck before the login screen , screen was black and mouse pointer was in the top left edge and keeping doing the circle icon , i never saw the login screen so i force shutdown and try booting againg and now i see this on yousmite (screen garble very severe )
Also garble changes if i move mouse and open finder or if i just want to shutdown osx
Thses are the images from my second boot on yousmite


Booting still takes alot more time than before ( both osx are on ssd and laptop has 8gb ram )

just tried again to boot yousmite after elcapitan and i got screen garble again :(

What version of Clover you use?

OBS: Do a EC reset = shutdown, remove battery, remove AC plug, hold power down 30 sec, put everything back & restart.

ok i will do EC reset and boot OS X afterwards

booting on battery now

first i booted osx yousmite booted successfully , no screen garble now 

i will boot elcappitan and boot back to yousmite

 

update : elcappitan boot fine , no screen garble

boot yousmite afterwards i got one black line on my wallpaper screen , changed the wallpaper and the black line is gone

almost no screen garble now

nvidia card is missing in my device list now

elcapitan still doesn't see my bluetooth and camera

 

boot time is better now , fast , i open maciasl app and generated ssdt_1.aml (CPUCst) and put it in patched folder with dsdt and ssdt

Update : tried to change plist and remove port count in config.plis file in iousbfamily kext as i found in this topic and installed kext with kext utility

Result : no usb port is working now .. lol

I revert back to original iousbfamily kext again for now

Still cant figue out how to enable my extra usb ports

This happens due to lack of detection of USBs.

 

I don't know what is your Bluetooth controller.

But i cannot disable it ... i tried clover nv disable method and it failed

What is lack of usb detection ?

My bluetooth controller is intel centrino wireless bluetooth 3.0 + high speed

If OS X recognizes and uses the HD 3000, forget it about Nvidia. If you want, you can delete all Nvidia/GeForce kexts too.

 

Or (the best option): DSDT/SSDT: Disable dedicated GPU to extend battery life (Laptop-exclusive)

 

Any Intel Centrino is not supported by Apple, so, if you want a Combo (WiFi + Bluetooth) consider that's necessary made a change.

 

Here is the list of supported and unsupported card ( Yellow means work with WifiInjector kext, Green means work OOB, red means unsupported, HMB cards are cards also have Bluetooth )
Or you can use a wifi dongle which is supported by OS X, but it also has downsides like battery draining, weak signal or causing sleep issues.

Today i am having boot problems ... maybe related to the config.plis file being corrupt or so

Clover seems woriking but it doesnt see the config.plis file

I will have to reinstall clover today and figure this out

i see macbook pro 9.1 got beta support on the latest nvidia driver

gonna try that on my system soon after i update to 10.11.4

Hey guys

I found an unlocked bios for my system from here

This i flashed successfully and so far i cannot boot into mac osx anymore

I did flash this bios to have the ability to disable intel graphics and make my nvidia as the main graphic card

I have so many options to make in this bios ... dont know what to do

Can you help me ?

Updated to osx 10.11.6 yesterday and i lost brightness control from keyboard

I also try redoing dsdt patching again to make sure i am doing it correctly
