Swad
That is a great tool! And, I didn't realize you could open the Preferences app in Rosetta - that fixes a LOT of things!

I'm pretty pissed off now. No one told me that if you open the prefs using rosetta, I can actually run some things that I have deleted because I thought it was broke. Damn me! Damn me for not knowing better! Thanks for the learning experience
Hagar
This is the same as the useful printer trick from the wiki: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...B_printer_drive I have tried to get other things working this way (DC30, & some scanners if I remember correctly) but no luck. domino
the nearest printer from my computer is at the computer store. So I didn't bother reading the printer section. Will try to reinstall the other apps I deleted and see if it works. Especially my wlan driver. Sorry for the off topic.

Funny that you point it out since I wasn't even remotly aware of such tweak. Therefore I dont bother reading though every single page on this forum . You can put your disks in the Dock without using a program. All you need to do is drag the disk over to the dock, and drop it between the trash can and the seperator. If you want the disk actually mixed in with the application icons, then maybe you need a program like DockDisks. I'd keep the system cleaner and just put them where I suggested (in between the trash and app icons), but thats just me...
