Hello, i have a Lenovo Y410p Hackintoshed with Yosemite 10.10.2 using Clover, already followed the native power management guide; i've been using it a while, but i felt the cpu too hot, these are the temps:

CPU:
Core 1 - 83 ºC
Core 2 - 84 ºC
Core 3 - 78 ºC
Core 4 - 76 ºC
CPU Package 85 ºC
---------------------

CPU Package Frecuency 3.07 GHz! -- I don't understand why!, my cpu basic frecuency is 2.4, turbo is 3.4, but... i never overclocked it!

CPU Package Average 3.01 GHz!

Do not worry about that part..it is totally normal. OS today likes lots of RAM, the more you give them the more they use so they don't have to fetch part of it from disk when needed.

What is not normal is your temps

Strange...

When you boot up OS X, the CPU process is already high?

You followed @ahmed_ais's guide for create OS X Yosemite USB Installer too?

I didn't follow @ahmed_ais's guide, i followed tonymacx86 guides.

How do i check CPU process before booting?

Ok, what do you think it's happening?

Check if your kernel_task is running 100%. It might be the problem

How do i do that?

Or maybe power management is not implemented correctly. Post IOReg.

I followed this guide for PM, here's my IOReg:

If you followed RehabMan's guide you need not worry about.

The power management is right:

But if you want, follow the specific guide for your Laptop: Guide for Installing OS X Yosemite on Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p

You should try and use my DSDT Auto-patcher script. Your ACPI tables might be similar to mine (Y510p). If you can test and report i'll add support for Y410p too. Hope it works for you. Thanks.

PS. If ACPI tables are similar, the only thing that you might have to do is fix errors afterwards.
