I am planning to buy this baby: https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=617234 in this coming April and I want to know if the Graphics Card (Nvidia 970m) for this one is supported. I'll update you guys once I've received my laptop if I can hackintosh it. Will only know if the graphics is working or not as soon as I've get this baby, anyways thanks for the reply. They can be switched by special Key named "GPU" (laptop should be restarted) If this laptop has the same functionality, I think you can run it with nvidia by Nvidia Web driver. Hi shnyaps do u have the post installation link for your baby and can you tell what hardware devices are working or not because it seems the gt72 qe uses the same ethernet, and other stuffs, so I can prepare for it once I received my laptop. many thanks! I am getting black screen with Geforce 980M and WebDriver yet (It is bootable only in safe mode, I want to try boot in clover with Geforce). hd4600M is working with Clover and 9MB cursor patch. OSX:Yosemite 10.10.2 Sound: working (voodoo 2.8.8 yet. I will try to patch AppleHDA) Ethernet: working (killer doubleshot pro with ALXEthernnet kext) usb30: working sleep: working with hasswell iMac SMBIOS. wifi: replaced original wifi with BCM94352z Geforce 980m: screen switches off, but osx is working (I can enter pass, hear sounds, etc.) I think, that I need DSDT patch, bacause Yosemite doesn't know anything about how output video signal to my LVDS screen. I've tried use chameleon bootloader for a week. It was bootable in safe mode only. I have the same problem with 970m, the screen is black! How does it work with Clover? Just the nvidia web flag? Or some dsdt injection? Thanks!
