I recently got Yosemite installed on my machine and it seems to run great, the problem is that everytime I try to shut down or restart it takes forever to do so. Sometimes I will see a message about "userspace teardown took xxxxxx" and then if finally restarts/shuts down.

Has anyone had this issue and do you have any fixes? How can I go about figuring out what is causing the slowdown so I can fix it?

Someone else was desperately trying to get me to help them solve exactly this problem in an Asus P5Q board, which still suffers from above mentioned issues.

@Artur, could you be more specific in pointing out the posts that are relevant to this issue?
