Ryanux
Apple has not released x3000 drivers for the moment, so it's wise to stay with the 945, just remember that theres no difference (or 5% max) between 975/965 and 945...
dponmac
yeah it doesn't work It gives me the "waiting for boot uuid media" and freezes. I'm assuming theres no way around that? if not, what motherboard works best with the core 2 duo for mac?

I am very dissapointed. I am looking for some help from the osx86 community.
aberracus
Excuseme but why are you disapointed? there are no previous indication in this forums of that mainboard working, the only working systems have: ICH5-ICH7 Radeon X1X000 or Gma 900/950 or some other Radeon cards Some intel Lan and some Gigabite Lan Some Azalia and Intel HD sound And thats it.. Mainly this chipsetes: 915, 945, 955, 975 conroe compatible ones 945 and 975 if you go the other way i wish you luck but you are going alone, most importantly, you are drifting from apple hardware. PD. i know theres AMD hardware working, but it isnt hte fastest or more compatible one, so for hassle free go with the ones i post above. Good luck

petie74
I also have tried every answers ito GMA graphics but with no success. My Xbench Score is 61 with the Intel 946GSZIS, 2.88 ghz and 1MB RAM. i purchased the mobo with Vista in mind, since Aero glass works. Had to change the device ID to get SATA and ATA to work. Still no network etc.. Would it be better to purchase a Radeon X1600 ? thanx
