My EP43-UD3L still be stucked on ended grey apple logo screen from 10.9.2~10.9.3 dev just "NO WAY OUT",but my another 3 system working very well.....from ForMOsoz...2014/3/21

2014/4/29 10.9.3 dev(13D45a)had solved my problem,It's magic!

Really surprised and pleased to see TS aka "Mbah Wayang" was here ... "Hormatttt grakkk..." This is my first post since 2012 whe i was create accout here . and i have to finish 2 quiz before posting. Great Forum ever...

@lisai9093: I think it just wasn't overwrote by the update, so you probably still have the manually fixed version.

Nop. I checked again. AICPM version was updated to 216.10.1. Previous is 216.0.0. So the old kexts were replaced by the new ones.

I said that because in my system the kext's signature was still broken after the update which means the info.plist I edited wasn't restored.

Well, I checked the version.plist inside the kext. And it is indeed changed, not sure about info.plist. I only see DTSDKBuild is 13D18 for the new AICPM.

lisai9093, maybe you didn't install 13D17 then because the AICPUPM kext versions there was 216.100.1, which caused it to not load.

I had installed 13D17 and met with AICPM loading problem. Then I replace the AICPM kexts with older version and everything works. And after update to 13D21, I found AICPM got updated and they are still loaded properly. I did not make any manual change to the AICPM itself.

I guess the AICPM is only partially updated which cause you the problems. Here is the current AICPM I have now, you can check them out.

Observations:

gigabyte GA-z77n-wifi

i5-3570k

MSI 660 GTX OC

After rebooting, I get the white screen of death (grey screen/whatever) that hangs forever.

However - If I unplug my monitor (DVI) reboot after *first* plugging DVI into the onboard GPU connector...*rebooting* waiting for a little while (I have an SSD boot..so I wait like 10 seconds which would normally be desktop)...then unplugging....rebooting....wait 10-12 seconds then plugging the cable into the DVI port on my GPU...THEN I can see my desktop and have a "normal" experience.

as mentioned before - booting in verbose show a "white screen of death" immediately after some error message about graphics drivers.

Anyone know wtf I'm talking about and how I can get my normal boot back?

this is with Beta 10.9.3....21

ps: another random point of note: CPU runs about 10 degrees Celsius hotter than 10.9.2 and GPU runs at normal temps and speed. GPU runs hotter (so says HWMonitor) even thought it's running at the same speed.

13D28 -

CUP temps still higher.

Still have to leave video cable unplugged until system has fully booted into desktop...otherwise it boots into a white screen where desktop should load.

edit: Yes! This is not the case. Rebooted a second time and booting is now normal. Still not sure why temps are higher.

Editing the kext isn't the problem - what I'm looking for inside the plist is the issue. Not sure what to change. Do I need to find an earlier kext or?

run lspci using -nnvvt flag and look for the id of your lpc controller and edit/add the id to the AppleLPC kext

Thanks. that's a start for sure. Will get on that when i get a moment. Much obliged.

Did anyone have the windowserver problems like with the previous builds?

Got some serious osx related bugs with .2 but no way to upgrade still... if this continues much longer I may even have to downgrade to ML again.

My Mac Pro got downgraded to Mavericks .1 for time being and my Macbook is still on ML.

Updated to 13D28.

Did not check if VGA works again. I am still on DVI.

I see no difference in the graphic drivers.

UI still freezing like {censored} on this site watching videos : http://ink361.com/app/tag/video

with Safari..

OpenGL Channel Exception.

No solution. It will never be fixed i guess.

Nividia 9600 GT.

CPU temps are back to normal (13D33) -> however, speedstep is still somewhat borked. CPU (like before, with other 10.9.3.x versions) seems to hover at 3.xGHz far too easily. Occasionally going back down to 1.6GHz like it should. BUT - at least system temps are now 10C lower than they were in the last iteration of 10.9.3xx

using preview for images still clocks up GPU to max until reboot.
