Hi,

I'm running mavericks and everything works just fine, except for the shutdown and restart processes. The system shuts down but the computer doesn't, it stays powered on.

Here's my Shutdown System log:

11/11/13 23:28:33,178 shutdown[367]: SHUTDOWN_TIME: 1384208913 177539
11/11/13 23:28:33,193 Dock[155]: XPC error messaging com.apple.IconServicesAgent: Connection interrupted
11/11/13 23:28:33,194 Dock[155]: XPC error messaging com.apple.IconServicesAgent: Connection invalid
11/11/13 23:28:33,202 ntpd[113]: ntpd exiting on signal 15

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Luca

It would be good to know more detail.  i.e, what motherboard you are using and what have you tried?   Are you using DSDT, what kexts are you using and which ones are loaded for power? Last but not least, what boot-loader are you using?

Asus P6T SE, Intel Core i7 920, Nvidia GeForce GTS 250

The following is my build:

Quick Start > DSDT Free
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT > ALC888 Legacy v100202 Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT > HDAEnabler

Drivers > Disk > IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector Drivers > Misc > ElliottForceLegacyRTC Drivers > Misc > EvOreboot

Drivers > Network > Realtek - Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx v0.0.90
Drivers > System > AppleACPIPlatform Rollback > 10.6.8 Rollback for ASUS X58 System

Drivers > System > AppleRTC Patch for CMOS Reset Bootloaders > Chimera v2.2.1
Customize > Boot Options > Basic Boot Options Customize > Boot Options > Generate CPU States Customize > Boot Options > GraphicsEnabler=Yes Customize > Boot Options > Hibernate Mode - Desktop Customize > Boot Options > Use KernelCache Customize > Boot Options > 1080p Display Mode Customize > System Definitions > Mac Pro > Mac Pro 3,1 Customize > Themes > tonymacx86 Black

i thought that maybe installing EvOreboot kext would work it out, but it didn't

What do you suggest?

I'm sorry if i didn't try anything else but i'm new in this project and really need a hand in the beginning...

Thanks in advance,

Luca
