Thats not old

There are plenty of systems out there that still run Windows 98, and that config (500MHz, 5GB hard drive, 64MB RAM) could be an excellent computer.

But, I don't have one of those.

Maybe I can compile an old Linux kernel (pre-1994) on a Commodore 128?

I always look to spread out the best from my computers old or new ...

With a proper Sw every pc will make the difference running faster, smooth and stable.

I never pretend to run the last os ( upgrade , upgrade , upgrade) on my Pc.

I want a pc that boots fast, respond to my needs quickly and never crashes.

Linux and Os x are my preferred choices.

Win Xp and Windows7 too , but i removed a lost of unused stuff making a very light weight Os

and different from original.

My Win Xp run in 200 mb of ram and have only 18 services.
