Tell me more please.

A non-UEFI Mavericks installer is built using the same exact same method as Lion and Mountain Lion, except mach_kernel is now inside /OS X Install ESD/Packages/BaseSystemBinaries.pkg. You can extract it from there with Pacifist.

Bugs, that command is creating the installer the same as if you ran the .app from desktop. It would be bootable from a mac or an efi boot like clover, osmosis or xpc. The command assumes the default locations, modify as needed.

Hi,

Does it creates the Recovery HD as well in the same time?

EDIT : answered page 2

full instructions:

Erasing Disk: 0%... 10%... 20%... 100%...

Copying installer files to disk...

Copy complete.

Making disk bootable...

Copying boot files...

Copy complete.

Done.

You can then boot up from the USB by holding down the option key, then install the GM from the USB.

This is probably going to be the same for the public release.

Note that this will also install a recovery partition.

How can you boot this USB key if you don't have at least fakesmc somewhere?

mmm... possible to repack DMGs with fakemsc within? probably yes? Then launch the creation process.
