Ok... But did you make bakup of these kexts??? Because maybe you gonna need Intel kexts do make your HD 3000 work...

 

Other... i don't beleive that is really necessary delete AGPM kext... but anyway... Good Luck!

Installation says one minute


computer without cpus=1 says local APIC error


Installation finish!!! 

 

 

Computer without cpus=1 says Local APIC.

 

 

With cpus=1 says Still waiting for root device   :(

 

 

How can i solve??? Please help!!!


Sorry dear friend. Computer start perfect ONLY with cpus=1 ( first i have write cpAs and not cpUs)

Hi dear Pimentel. I have installed Chamaleon and i try the files of Maverick ( i have put it in Extra)

 

 

At the boot he says GPT test test GPT test test ERROR

I have select in org.chameleon of maverick my SMBIOS But he says At the boot GPT test test GPT test test ERROR.

 

I don't have a DSDT

 

I can boot only with my USB.Please help me.

 

 

​If you want i can delete that file from extra and i can try ti create smbios and org.chamaleon but i don't know how set off and how set on.

Hello

 

I gave to you a solution to install Mavericks... see that, is 100% retail and clear...

After install OSX.

To solver cpus=1 problem: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/316-lapic-kernel-patcher-v07/
Install patcher... after isn't necessary boot with cpus=1

And follow that others advices i gave to you to make post-install

I am re installing 10.9.4. 

 

Maverick i install with my hack. Chamaleon is already installed? How can i boot directly from Hard Disk? 

 

 

For the ATI i have read this x.com/files/file/3570-ati-radeon-hd-6770m-id-1002-6740/

 

 

What can i do? Please help me.

I explain to you about post-installation:
 

To post-install

 

Install Chameleon: http://www.insanelym...ameleon-22-svn/

 

Create a Extra folder in HDD folder, and put inside it these files:

*org.chameleon...

*SMBios(MacBookPro 8,1)

Create this files with Chameleon Wizard

 

Install NullCPUPM for now to get a generic PM

 

Don't foiget install FakeSMC

 

Your graphic card ATI will not work... disable it in Bios and use only integrated graphic... Intel HD 3000.

 

and i reforce....

Just install it, is HWSensor and select FakeSMC in things to install.

 

Did you make your files? org.chameleon... and SMbios??? Maverick posted these files, thank you Maverick.... but i prefer that you create your own files... use chameleon Wizard...

Hey!!! HP start without USB!!! I have created smbios and org.chamaleon !!! All is ok!!!!

 

 

But we must fix audio and in system information Intel is only 3 mb it is slowly..

 

 

Can we fix it?? Thank you very very much!!!   I'm so Happy!!!!


We must also fix USB 2.0 Ports because it does not mount external drive . (he mount only my hack USB)

 

 

Also USB 3.0 ports because it does not function

About this mac reconize your grafik as HD 3000? If yes... this is a start... Have you deleted

all grafik kexts???

Read Carefully.

Try VoodooHDA 2.8.4 to audio... seach in google for this kext and install it, remove AppleHDA

after install VoodooHDA.

Yes i have chose MacBook Pro 8,1.

 

Yes it is HD 3000

 

In the installation USB i have deleted the kext that have said Maverick.

 

How can i remove AppleHDA ? 

 

 

After NULLCPU AND HWSENSOR i try HD 3000

Hello

 

Yes... select FakeSMC.

 

Use Kext Wizard to install NullCPUPM, it'll be installed in default folder: S/L/E

 

Read that guide about HD 3000 to make it work

 

Go to S/L/E folder and just delet AppleHDA or drop it to trash ;)

After AppleHDA 

 

And i have read quickly (only for the moment) HD 300 guide and the man says DSDT. I have created smbios and org.chamaleon not DSDT

I must delete AppleHDA and install VoodooHDA.kext in S/L/E ?

Good to hear that things working... Audio... is VoodooHDA 2.8.4 as i said before...

 

Is onlye necessary inject Dual Link if your resolution is more high than 1366x768, if you resolution is 1366x768 or lower... don't worries about DSDT

 

And you need re-install Intel kexts that you removed after install OSX, use Kext wizard to install all them

There is not AppleHDA in extensions folder.

The director is : System/Library/Extensions... Remove AppleHDA, if you don't find AppleHDA(estranger...)is because it was removed :rolleyes:

 

Seach about your model computer in ethernet and see in site of manufacturer about specs of your notebook, i believe that resolution of monitor will be there

Ok... You'll need apply Dual Link patch in DSDT or add EFI String... i prefer EFI string...

Read in here how make your EFI String, this quote was get from that guide about HD 3000
 

DualLink can be also injected by device-properties ("EFI string")

Basicaly you need generate a EFI String and put in place that guide teach you... after that install that kexts that you removed after install OSX.

I have try to create EFI String... i have open my terminal on my iMac and i have write gfxutil -i xml -o hex device-properties.plist device-properties.hex    but he says command not found

Hello

 

Run this command in terminal:

ioreg -lw0 -p IODeviceTree -n efi -r -x | grep device-properties | sed 's/.*<//;s/>.*//;' > device-properties.hex

After that, run:

gfxutil -i xml -o hex device-properties.plist device-properties.hex

to convert and generate EFI String... after that add this string in org.chameleon... or use Chameleon Wizard and add in it.

There is a problem... i have copy your your commands in my hack usb and now when i put usb computer crash i can not move nothing

How can i solve????


Now i see the USB!!! Computer not crash...we must fix after 3.0 and 2.0  USB


I have insert the first command and press start and terminal says nothing. Now i have insert the second command and it says command not found. Please Help
