Mac_user12 Posted October 7, 2012 Share Posted October 7, 2012 Hallo liebe Comunity, Ich plane seit heute morgen meinen ersten Hackintosh. Nun bin ich beim Case angekommen. Ich habe vor mir bei Ebay ein G5 Case zu holen, und dieses auf ATX um zubauen. Nur habe ich nun das Problem : " Wohin mit dem Netzteil" ? kann man es einfach in das Case legen? Ich kann zwar Computer bauen und einrichten, aber hab noch nie ein Netzteil nicht richtig in ein Case bekommen. Ein NT mod auf das G5 NT würde ich gerne umgehen, da das für mich nur potentielle Störquellen sind. Vielen dank schon einmal. Gruß Mac_user12 PS: Ich hoffe das der Threat richtig gelegt ist. With regards to your power supply, there are several topics here at InsanelyMac that deal with that issue. Most people have decided to relocate the power supply to where the hard drives are located in the G5 case, and then to move the hard drive cage to another location. Some people, including myself, decided to take the guts out of a new power supply and put them inside the case for the old one. This does void the warranty on your new power supply, but it retains the original location and the original look of your G5. Either path you decide to take, you can find help in the Mods and Overclocking sub forum. Good luck with your project! I would love to see pictures of the system as you continue to work on it. Mein Netzteil ist einfach auf dem Boden des Gehäuses gelegt und über eine "Kaltgeräteverlängerung" in den Rahmen des alten Netzteilanschluß eingeschoben. Klingt komplex, ist aber ganz einfach gelöst.
