Takuro
The much-hyped Xtorrent is available for download. It's worth a try if you don't like any other torrent applications for OS X. The main feature that sets is apart is the ability to search for torrents from within the app itself! If a tracker isn't automatically searched, you can manually add it to the list. This can be a real time saver. All results can be downloaded in an iTunes-like interface. Enjoy it while it's free. Swad
I will refuse to pay for a bit torrent app. Edit: I tried it and I'm not a big fan. Also, this is from the same dev who threw the GPL out the window with Acquisition. I'm not impressed. velayo
If you like an osx looking torrent software you should try bit rocket. It's beta too, but at least it is free. I tried it and was impressed by the small footprint. However, it is a little too buggy for my taste at this point. Takuro
BitRocket froze as soon as I tried to resize the window. Now THAT's buggy. XTorrent is a lot less buggy, and I'm actually starting to like it. I hope it doesn't follow Acquisition's route to becoming payware. One bug is that if you add extra torrent sites to search through, it usually crashes when you select an item for download. The default search of Google is good enough though. I've found tons of stuff that I couldn't easily find in my usual places.
