Wayland
http://sewelldirect.com/vtbookpcmciacard.asp I was interested when I saw this. I wonder if it will work on intel macs? Probley not, but maybe so? Depends on the chip I guess.
errandwolfe
I can pretty much guarantee this won't work. Correct me if I am wrong but none of the Mac Books have a PCMCIA slot, they all have ExpressCard slots instead.
powrslave
OSX detects PC CARDs Does VTBook support Quartz Extreme? VTBook does support Quartz 2D acceleration, but not Quartz Extreme. VTBook will also not hardware accelerate your internal video, but still video playback using software Quicktime player and scaler will be possible with satisfactory results. errandwolfe
Uh sorry you are wrong, I just double checked. There is no PCMCIA card slot on either the MacBook or MacBook Pro. they both have the ExpressCard/54 expansion bay rather then PCMCIA.

errandwolfe
Ah ok, just the original person's verbage made me think he/she was on an actual Intel Mac not a Hackintosh.
vince29
PCMCIA isn't supported on all osx86 laptops, though.
Wayland
PCMCIA isn't supported on all osx86 laptops, though. Yeah.... but some are... I'm not gonna buy one, but it makes you wonder...
guiyoforward
for that price, sell your laptop and buy a new one. in any case, osx86 recognizes PCCARD IF AND ONLY IF the chipset is supported...
Neonkoala
I thought that the Macbooks only had an expresscard/34 slot.
