Mohamed Khairy

can you post a DSDT extraction and patches to apply for our dell n5110 ?

i attached three patched dsdt isnt worked for you ?

if you want patches you can extract your orginal dsdt and use any diif program like one on xocde  and see changes and patches

Hi Mohamed Khairy,

I have questions about the Guide:

1. How Can I format entire the HDD as what, then Windows and OS X can use the same "DATA" partition?

2. Please provide more description when the "install progress" from USB flash completed 100% -> reboot

Have a good day, thank you!

don't understand your Q

but again

the most important point is to make OS X partition is the last one

about install just when you install you will understand what i said don't worry

the fresh extracted DSDT does not compile.. what should I do about the errors given there, delete methods with those unknown identifiers ?

do you have problem with ones on guide ?

any way upload your extracted one here and see the problem

Example: I have a HDD with 3 partition: 1: Windows, 2: Data, 3: OSX. So what is format type of "Data partition" that I can read/write file/data from Windows and OSX to this partition ("2: Data")?

if you want to use this partion to write/read on both system choose exfat

Hey, Mohamed. Does your 15R has an option in BIOS to enable POST sound? Someone with an Asus laptop with AMI bios has reported that with POST sound disabled they had no sound in UEFI Windows too. Enabling the option in BIOS has magically solved the problem.

You can't do that .. have to install UEFI from scratch in order to test it.

i test this method on my pc and it works ....

bcdboot c:\windows /s c: /f UEFI

but the difference is that on my pc windows setup on separate HDD

really dont want now to make a tries again and repartitioning my HDD disk

may wait till final release of 10.10 and do it :)

11. Fixed issue where the IDT audio device would not appear in device manager when running a UEFI OS.

Those idiots have fcked up all sandyBridge bioses and they fixed only business notebooks
