A Nonny Moose
Froid is French for cold, in case you wanted to know (GO SHERLOCK) As we all know Stevie Jobs won't be giving a Paris keynote. In fact, the secret Apple party is scheduled for the same day as the opening on MacWorld Paris (September 12). Could this be revenge since the French tried to screw over Apple with the iTunes music store? La vengeance est un froid mieux servi de plat ? Perhaps...perhaps... brewno
Silly revenge. Do you think the parliament would care if he comes or not? They don't give a rats ass. Us though, the consummers / developers, would miss only a "show". I don't think his presence is important - even though it would be cool to see him there. What matters to us is their products I might be going there on the 12th, if I go I'll post pictures of it. Urbz
I do think that is possible. Steve Jobs can be very...let's just say...immature. I've already read iCon (a book about him) and i totally see this as Jobs taking the politics personally and being childish. Is it justified? That's a whole other issue, but I think to a certain extent, yes it is. But then again I don't agree with the ruling in the first place... -Urby Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26577-revenge-is-a-dish-best-served-froid/#findComment-180294 Share on other sites

Metrogirl
Klingon or not - I'd lay money on it being revenge - I think that spite is something that Steve exhibits from time to time ... other incidents sort of point to this trait, don't you think?
