They could include into the update Remote Disk Support and Gestures. or just make a special version for the Air. I forgot about that option. But if for some reason they ever wanted to reinstall OSX that would make it hard. sorry, i'm rambilling... There is certainly precedent for Apple shipping new hardware with new builds of OS X under the same point release number. I think it is more likely that use of Time Capsule will require 10.5.2.
