MenuShade makes your menu bar darker so it's "easier on your eyes and doesn't burn the top of your display a lighter color. It fades in and out as you float over it a nice effect.

Opps, shoulda put it in Applications section i think, or is it right, its kinda under the GUI section.

I can't seem to get the exceptions to work. I typed "VLC" in one line like the others but when I watch a full-screen video in VLC I can still see the strip at the top. I also tried "Safari" because I want to watch full-screen Youtube videos but the strip was still there. Any ideas? Thanks.

hi all

 

this application quit immediatly on my macbook pro 2.2 SR.

Does anyone else have this problem ?

hope there will be a solution because it seems very usefull.

You're using Leopard, right? MenuShade is not compatible with 10.5. Check MacUpdate or VersionTracker for future updates.
