Pu7o
According to grabberslasher, MacSoft got an universal binary of Halo out. Apparently, it costs $5. • Software has been completely re-engineered using Apple’s Xcode 2.3 and GCC 4.1.• Universal Binary support has been added for optimum play on Intel Macs. • Cooperative threading removed in favor of preemptive threading. • Render-to-texture operations have been improved. • Fixed bugs related to fogging when running in Vertex Shaders mode. • Fixed a bug with minimizing the game while playing in Windowed Mode. • Fixed a bug where running Timedemos wouldn’t always work. • Fixed a random crasher in low-level wide char string functions. • Re-wrote the internal timer code to be more accurate. • Fixed some issues with VSync draw option not working. • Cmd-Q now works. New001
Wow, this game runs fantastic on 1024x768 / Advanced Pixel Shaders / 4x AA. Though only one warning, do not use Lens Flare. So far it seems to be done in software, because I get massive slowdowns with even Lens Flare turned on high, this did not happen with the previous Halo I used to run on my 2.1GHz iMac G5. Anyone know where I can buy a serial or a full version online so I can download the update? It won't let me without a serial. I have the windows version, but not osx. TheoCryst
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006IQT...p;s=electronics Amazon usually has the best deals on Mac games, in my opinion. Just make sure you keep the receipt for this purchase, so MacSoft will ship you the update for free.

bentcruiser
Would anyone have an idea why when I type in the key code for my original Halo why the new universal binary tells me it is not valid? It is quite maddening.
