hi andy.. when booting with cpus=4 or nothing on bootloader it simply reboots after a few second after the boot screen appears.. please help

It could be the boot loader as it directly reboots after load.

Check it out with another booter...

I NEED HELP!!!

works great but i still cant use 4 core in 64 bit mode.. :D only 3..

That's probably a bad core you have. Nothing can be done, except use 3 cores or you may just try your luck with all the boot flag. For me I just use -force64 and arch=i386 and my busratio.

Please excuse my ignorance, but how can I install the 10.6.5 legacy kernel to my system without starting over from the very beginning? Every tutorial I have seen for my system asks for the legacy injection when you very first install OSX on your PC. I skipped it as I have had issues with previous installs hanging at boot. Right now I use cpus=1 to run 10.6.5.

I write this about 1 year ago:

Some times ago i made this again by using 10.6.3 retail dvd, right next You

can use 10.6.6 combo update and before restart You must only use last legacy

kernel 10.6.0 installer.

My 9800 GT 1 Gb video hangs first, but I restart by using safe mode, -x , and

after that I update the most last nvidia drivers with cuda. You can open installer

by right clic, and install different parts by hand.

If original sleepenabler hangs, only destroy it.

Shao1555 sleepenabler and PleaseSleep works well together.

Parameter -v -f & -x are very helpfull in first start.

Tuure
