    10.7.2 Issues

If possible please provide more information on the issue you are having. Boot with -v option and post the screenshot with the error. Also don't forget to use the latest chameleon version.

    10.7.2 killed my hackintosh!

My suggestion to replace the IONetworkingFamily.kext was to fix the networking problem (according to my understanding) you had.

Try to replace the IONetworkingFamily.kext with the previous one from 10.7.1.

    10.7.2 killed my hackintosh!

Hi! Great! I'm glad it worked! :wink2: As for the sleep issue, I have done nothing here. It's still working for me just like in 10.7.1. Do you have a dsdt.aml in /Extras? As for the ethernet driver, make sure to move it (as well as other kernel extensions) from /Extra/Extensions to /System/Library/Extensions. That fixed the ethernet problem I had after updating to 10.7.2.

RC5 r1723 is the latest one (just like "Gringo Vermelho" mentioned). Update to it and add the following option to your boot.plist "UseKernelCache = Yes". If it still doesn't work let us know... Good luck!

    10.7.2 killed my hackintosh!

I had the same issue after upgrading from 10.7.1 to 10.7.2. Are you using the latest Chameleon version? Updating it solved my problem (as well as the procedure presented here: http://www.insanelym...howtopic=270355).
  7. EDITED: It worked!!! I've figured out what the problem was... After playing yesterday with the kexts I forgot to copy the original IOATAFamiliy.kext back to /S/L/E... My mistake... Hi hotKoffy, I've changed my /usr/standalone/bootcaches.plist according to your instructions but it didn't work (refer to the changes hereafter). No Extensions.mkext file is generated and I'm still getting the "Still waiting for the root device" message when booting Lion 10.7.2. I moved all kexts from /E/E to /S/L/E and put "UseKernelCache = No" in Chameleon. I don't know what to do... Any suggestions? Thank you!!! ... <key>MKext2</key> <dict> <key>ExtensionsDir</key> <string>/System/Library/Extensions</string> <key>Path</key> <string>/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Extensions.mkext</string> <key>Archs</key> <array> <string>i386</string> <string>x86_64</string> </array> </dict> ...
  8. Lack of proper drivers? Shouldn't it work flawlessly because it was used in previous Macs? I intended to buy it too...
  9. I've been using Lion installed on a MBR partition for two weeks and no problem so far...

Supported Graphics cards with Full QE/QI

XFX 7600GS 256MB fully working in 32-bit mode (arch=i386) and GraphicsEnabler=Yes ATI X1950XTX 512MB fully working with extra kexts: EVOenabler-x19X0.kext, JaminMc-x19x0-inject-cont.kext and JaminMc-x19x0.kext (the only drawback is it's noisy because the fan works at full speed)
  11. I use Intel (P4). I have no experience on AMD but I think you must also apply the instruction patcher provided by AnV (take a look at his previous posts).
  12. You just need to replace the mach_kernel file found in the root (/) directory.
  13. You're welcome! Yes, I mean the mach_kernel.zip just posted by Azimutz. Also I don't know if you'll need to run the AMD Instruction Patcher released by AnV (refer to post #132). AMD is a complete different world for me!
