The remove part is useless i think.

 

I have changed my dsdt.aml accordingly (all usb-ports, right?), but autosleep still doesn´t work

 

 

Monis going off, but Computer not. Manuell Sleep works fine, except at times when wakeup, network is down.

 

Is there a way of restarting the network, logging off and on don´t help, only reboot 

 

 

 

 

Also at times my apple magic mouse (bluetooth) isn´t working after sleep, but manually new connecting helps (still anoying)

 

Anybody has idea, what to do?

Edit: Tried the sleepenabled dsdt from Innerz, same thing. Also my EHCI Usb is now extern again

I tried a lot of things but didn't get my sound working on 965p DS4 rev.1 (ALC883).

Is there any possibility to get it working on SL 10.6.3 64 bit?

Yes, it works out of the box, just Audio was broken, had to put old kext back again

 

 

If you don´t use innerzs dsdt, you will have to replace sleepenabler, too

AppleHDA.kext.zip

I have a Giga 965P-DS4 Ver.1

 

I use this dsdt file and I get a VoodooHda error

 

maybe because DS4 Ver.1 is using ALC883 soundchip not ALC888

Sorry guys, I have not been able to respond to your messages and PMs. I bought an iMac last November, and kind of drifted away from the "scene". But I am back, having sold the iMac (miss the Hackintosh way too much), and am ready to dive head-in back to the OSX world. I am currently trying out the many developments that have taken place since Nov-December.

 

Yes, 10.6.3 did break the audio, but a quick restore from 10.6.2, and all is back in order. It's sad that ALC888 has been deprecated by Apple. Oh well. As long as we get 64 bit and the 10.6.2 kext keeps roaring, I won't complain.

Nice to see this thread all about the P965 DS4, has anyone tried the new Chameleon RC5 with the board? It should makes things easier as you need less DSDT tinkering.

I'm new in this business and I've found an old PC that my brother was using about 3 years ago (maybe more)

that owns the exactly same motherboard.

I wanted to ask you how do I install SL with does kexts and etc... - that I need to make the Hackintosh work great with network and etc..

B.t.w : Will Hackintosh work without a Graphics Card Driver?
