I got 3 partitions on my old PowerMac: OSX Swap MyFiles I want Swap to not be visible on the desktop. Plus how do I change icons? I like some of the neat icon themes some use. Thanks. Doe other media such as removable flash and CD/DVD still mount like normal? Thanks. A Nonny Moose Posted May 30, 2006 Share Posted May 30, 2006 The easiest way is to do the alias bit. I'd also think of removing them permanently off the desktop. Every Finder window has the sidebar that can show any disk, folder, or file you want with a command-N and a click.
